Clincial Research
Pulmonary Associates Research is a thriving research department with a multitude of adult and pediatric participants. This department has conducted many inpatient and outpatient clinical research trials specializing in pulmonary and critical care medicine. Some of the trials have explored conditions including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis (AECB), community acquired pneumonia (CAP), hospital acquired pneumonia (HAP), sepsis, adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and venous thromboembolism (VTE) prophylaxis. These studies are currently conducted from our West Mobile, Midtown and Spring Hill offices.
Our research division is dedicated to quality, integrity, and patient care. While conducting research, this department maintains a high level of care for its patients. Its goal is to improve the quality of life for as many people as possible by bridging medical research and the development of new therapies to benefit patients.
