What do I need to bring as a new patient?
Please bring your insurance information, a copy of your driver’s license, and all medications you are currently taking.
What are your office hours?
We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Where are you located?
We have offices located at Providence Hospital, Mobile Infirmary, Springhill Medical Center, and in Daphne. We also hold an outreach clinic in Chatom. For more information, please see our Locations tab.
Do I need a referral to see a doctor at Pulmonary Associates?
No, but some of our physicians prefer that you establish a relationship with a primary care physician to ensure well-rounded medical care. Our physicians specialize in critical care and pulmonary medicine while primary care physicians encompass a more generalized knowledge of the body.
Can I see another doctor in the group?
To ensure continuity of care, we prefer that patients maintain a relationship with one physician.
Which physicians see patients for sleep medicine?
Dr. Bedsole and Dr. Melton are our board certified sleep medicine physicians.
Does Pulmonary Associates conduct asbestos testing?
Do I have to pay a co-pay at the time of the visit?
Yes, most insurance companies require us to collect your co-pay at the time of the appointment. If you are a new patient, our business office will contact you and let you know your co-pay before your first appointment.
What are Dr. Gates’s allergy shot hours?
Dr. Gates allergy shot hours are Monday – Friday from 9:00 am – 11:00 am and 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
