William J. Schulte, MD, FCCP is a native of Covington, Kentucky. Dr. Schulte completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in Zoology at the University of Kentucky. He also attended Medical School at the University of Kentucky. He went on to complete his fellowship in pulmonary disease at the University of Tennessee Hospitals. Dr. Schulte is Board Certified in in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine. Dr. Schulte joined Pulmonary Associates in December of 1986 and is currently affiliated with the Mobile County Medical Society, Alabama Medical Association, and American Medical Association and is a Fellow with the American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Schulte is affiliated with Providence Hospital, Springhill Medical Center, Mobile Infirmary Medical Center and he previously served as the Medical Director for Mercy Medical Hospice Mobile.
