Scott H. Patterson, MD, FCCP is a native of Chatom, Alabama. Dr. Patterson completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Spring Hill College. He went on to complete both Medical School and his pulmonary disease and critical care medicine fellowship at the University of South Alabama. Dr. Patterson is Board Certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine. Dr. Patterson joined Pulmonary Associates in August of 1991 and after a brief sabbatical returned in August of 2004. He is currently a Fellow with the American College of Chest Physicians and a member of the American Thoracic Society and the Medical Society of Mobile County.
